The posting
We seek an excellent and highly skilled Research Officer to support wet-lab research for ATOMIC, a platform integrating automated experimentation, single-cell genomics and AI to accelerate biological discovery and drug development.
Key responsibilities
- Perform cell culture, drug treatments and genetic perturbation experiments.
- Conduct single-cell genomics workflows, including sample preparation, library construction and quality control.
- Develop, optimise and troubleshoot experimental methods for scalable perturbation profiling.
- Work with automation and computational teams to establish reproducible workflows.
- Maintain experimental records, standard operating procedures and laboratory supplies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in molecular biology, biotechnology, life sciences or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology.
- Experience in single-cell sequencing, CRISPR perturbations or laboratory automation is advantageous.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively.
