Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Architecture and Design
  • Position Title: Resident Technical Officer
  • Working Location: Boon Lay
  • Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm; Sat, 8.30am - 12.30pm)
  • Salary Package: Basic salary up to $7,000 + AWS + Variable Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise building works under the Building Control Act, maintain quality standards, and ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and consultants' site instructions.
  • Ensure contractors comply with Singapore building codes and regulations.
  • Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Review drawings and specifications for discrepancies and report any issues to the consultants.
  • Attend meetings with project consultants and clients.
  • Prepare project progress reports.

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil and Structural (C&S) Engineering.
  • Must be registered as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with BCA/IES/ACES.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) on Housing & Development Board (HDB) projects.
