Join Our Team: Restaurant Manager – Italian

Are you an energetic hospitality professional with a passion for authentic Italian dining? We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead our Front of House team and drive daily operations. In this role, you will be motivating the service team, maintaining flawless operational standards, managing costs, and ensuring every guest enjoys a warm, memorable, and traditional Italian dining experience.

💼 Key Responsibilities

1. Front of House Operations & Quality Control

  • Oversee day-to-day Front of House operations to ensure smooth guest flow, efficient table allocations, and high service consistency.
  • Monitor the POS system, manage proper cash-handling procedures, and generate operational reports as per management requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen team to maintain strict food quality, presentation, and portion control.
  • Enforce strict compliance with food safety, workplace hygiene, and regulatory requirements.

2. Guest Experience & Hospitality Excellence

  • Deliver a warm, professional, and personalized dining experience to every guest as per SOP
  • Actively engage with diners, build lasting relationships with regulars, and handle complaints or special requests tactfully.
  • Elevate team knowledge in Italian culinary traditions, menu ingredients, wine pairings, and service etiquette (including cigar knowledge where applicable).

3. Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage staff rostering and optimize manpower requirements.
  • Conduct regular team briefings, identify areas for improvement, and provide ongoing coaching.
  • Oversee the onboarding, training, and recruitment of new team members.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the Front of House team to achieve service and sales objectives.

4. Sales, Profit, Cost & Inventory Management

  • Control food, beverage, and labor costs to stay within budget targets.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks, manage ordering, and minimize wastage or operational spoilage.
  • Identify operational efficiencies to support revenue growth and overall restaurant profitability.
  • Monitor, report, drive and increase sales in consultation with management
  • Propose and manage corporate/group events where needed

🎯 Job Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, F&B Management, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of full-service restaurant experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
  • Niche Knowledge: Strong understanding of Italian food, wine service, and culinary traditions is a major advantage. Experience in European concepts is highly preferred.
  • Business Acumen: Proven experience in inventory management, labor rostering, cost control, and POS system operations.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills. You must be proactive, resourceful, and able to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
