Job Summary

Our client seeks an experienced Risk and Compliance Associate with a financial industry background to support enterprise risk management activities, enhance compliance processes, and contribute to regulatory and governance initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Enterprise Risk Management framework by conducting risk assessments, maintaining risk registers, monitoring key risk indicators, managing third-party risks, and preparing risk and incident reports
  • Execute KYC/CDD procedures, including client onboarding, screening, risk assessments, and periodic reviews to ensure compliance
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews on onboarding, monitoring, and compliance documentation to identify control gaps and recurring issues
  • Recommend and implement process and control improvements to strengthen risk management and compliance effectiveness
  • Assist in preparing regulatory reports, supporting audits, inspections, and management reporting activities
  • Update and maintain risk and compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls to align with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in risk, compliance, and governance projects to support organizational objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, Risk Management, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk, internal audit, compliance, or financial services
  • Knowledge of AML/CFT and KYC/CDD regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrated by effective documentation and communication of risk findings
  • Self-driven and proactive with the ability to independently manage tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently
  • Practical and solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to driving tasks to completion
