1. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant regulations and codes of practice, including guidelines set by the Energy Market Authority (EMA) and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements
- Monitor adherence to company safety policies and statutory requirements
2. Risk Assessment & Control
- Conduct and review risk assessments for activities
- Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures
- Ensure safe work procedures are established and followed
3. Site Supervision & Coordination
- Supervise works on-site to ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and workers on electrical safety matters
- Ensure only qualified and licensed personnel perform electrical work
6. Incident Investigation & Reporting
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses
- Prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions
7. Training & Awareness
- Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training sessions on safety
- Promote a strong safety culture among all site personnel
8. Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, permits, risk assessments, and incidents
- Prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities as required
Requirements & Qualifications
- MOM-registered WSH Coordinator certification is mandatory
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in electrical works, preferably in construction or industrial settings
- Good knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
