About the Role

We are recruiting a Sales Engineer on behalf of our client, a pump supplier in Singapore. The successful candidate will develop customer relationships, identify new business opportunities and recommend suitable vacuum pump solutions to meet customers’ requirements.

Job Details

  • Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Location: Joo Koon, Singapore
  • Working Hours: 9:00 am–6:00 pm, 5 days per week
  • Basic Salary: S$3,000–S$5,000 per month, depending on qualifications and relevant experience
  • Car Allowance: S$1,200 per month
  • Annual Leave: 14 days
  • Probation Period: 3–6 months
  • AWS / Variable Bonus: Not provided

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Understand customers’ technical and application requirements and recommend suitable vacuum pump solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, sales proposals and sales reports.
  • Follow up on customer enquiries, quotations and sales opportunities.
  • Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.
  • Coordinate and support after-sales service activities, including following up on customer feedback and service requirements.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent relevant qualification.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in the engineering field.
  • Experience in after-sales service would be an advantage.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
  • Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
  • Open to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.
