Job Summary

NPR Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Executive to support its automotive and marine engine spare-parts business. The product portfolio includes piston rings, cylinder liners, and other products handled through direct sales, trading and indent operations.

The successful candidate will manage existing customer and supplier relationships,develop new business opportunities, and contribute to sales growth across Singapore and regional markets, including Southeast Asia, the UAE, Sri Lanka,India and Australia.

This is a regional sales position involving customer visits, business-development activities and regular overseas travel. Candidates must be willing and able totravel overseas based on business requirements.

The ideal candidate is self-driven, adaptable and commercially minded, with the ability to understand technical customer requirements, prepare quotations, negotiate effectively and provide responsive sales support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with existing customers, prospective customers and suppliers.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and identify new business opportunities within designated territories and markets.
  • Manage sales activities for automotive and marine engine spare parts, including piston rings, cylinder liners, trading and indent operations.
  • Develop business opportunities across Singapore and regional markets, including Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the UAE, Sri Lanka, India and Australia. Market coverage may be adjusted according to the Company’s business requirements.
  • Plan and carry out sales and marketing activities in accordance with the Company’s business strategies and objectives.
  • Conduct customer visits, product presentations and business-development meetings in Singapore and overseas.
  • Understand customers’ technical and commercial requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
  • Handle customer enquiries, address objections, negotiate commercial terms and follow through on sales opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate quotations, pricing proposals and discount calculations in accordance with the Company’s approval procedures.
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers, Sales Administration, Warehouse, Accounts and other internal departments to support order fulfilment and customer service.
  • Monitor market developments, customer requirements, competitor activities and potential business opportunities, and provide regular reports to the Sales Manager.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, customer information, quotations, visit reports, forecasts and other required documentation.
  • Use Microsoft Excel and other approved digital or AI-enabled tools to support sales analysis, reporting, market research and customer engagement.
  • Demonstrate initiative, resilience, accountability, self-discipline and professional conduct in achieving sales objectives.
  • Travel within Singapore and overseas as required. Regular overseas travel is an essential requirement of this position, with the frequency and duration determined by business needs.
  • Perform other reasonable duties related to the position as assigned by the Sales Manager or Company.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Preferably 6–8 years of relevant experience in technical sales, account management, business development or customer service within the automotive, marine, engineering, spare-parts, trading or related industries.
  • Experience in regional sales or managing overseas customers will be an advantage.
  • Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence and willingness to drive for authorised business activities.
  • Willingness and ability to undertake regular overseas business travel.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and customer-relationship management skills.
  • Commercially aware, customer-focused and able to understand technical product information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with data-analysis functions such as Power Query or Power Pivot, and approved digital or AI tools, will be an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Other Information

· Working days: Monday to Friday,five-day work week

· Working hours: 8:15 a.m. to5:45 p.m., including a one-hour meal break

· Work arrangements: The positioninvolves office-based work, customer visits, local travel and overseas businesstravel. Overtime payment is not applicable to this position, subject toapplicable law.

· Salary: S$3,800 to S$4,500 permonth, depending on qualifications, relevant experience and demonstratedcapabilities

· Commission and AWS: No sales commission or AWS is payable for this position

· Performance bonus: A discretionary annual performance bonus may be awarded based on the Company’sperformance and the employee’s individual performance

· Business transportation:Approved transport and travel expenses incurred for business activities will be reimbursed in accordance with Company policy. Use of a Company vehicle may be provided when required and authorised.

· Benefits: Medical andhospitalisation benefits will be provided in accordance with Company policy
