Job Summary

You will engage customers warmly to understand their jewellery preferences, drive sales through expert product knowledge and personalized service, manage inventory and visual displays, and support store operations to ensure a smooth and premium retail experience.

Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Relations

  • Welcome customers warmly and build genuine relationships to understand their jewellery preferences and tailor shopping experiences
  • Demonstrate detailed knowledge of jewellery products to guide customers confidently through selections and highlight craftsmanship
  • Drive sales by upselling and cross-selling based on customer needs, promotions, new launches, and campaigns
  • Cultivate a personal client base by managing after-sales support and follow-up to encourage loyalty and referrals
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues promptly to the Store Manager when necessary

Inventory & Visual Merchandising

  • Maintain clean, visually appealing, and secure jewellery displays to uphold a premium store presentation
  • Conduct daily stock audits and document incoming and outgoing stock accurately, reconciling physical counts with system records
  • Provide regular stock transfer and replenishment updates to the Branch Manager to maintain optimal inventory levels

Other Responsibilities

  • Follow all company SOPs, local regulations, anti-theft protocols, opening/closing checklists, and safety standards
  • Record sales and customer interactions accurately in POS and CRM systems
  • Submit daily sales reports to the Branch Manager, including customer feedback, stock movement insights, and operational challenges
  • Participate actively in monthly performance reviews and training sessions to support continuous development

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum GCE “O” or "N" level qualification
  • Strong interpersonal skills to deliver service excellence
  • Proficient spoken English to communicate effectively with customers and team
  • Ability to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Previous retail or jewellery sales experience
  • Dynamic, energetic, and passionate about exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Availability to start work on short notice
