About Calvary Carpentry
Calvary Carpentry is Singapore's exclusive distributor for Accoya, Champaca, OneWood, Dasso, ALPI, and Sicaro timber systems, and the team behind proprietary products like K-Lite and Calvary Composite. We work across two very different worlds: large commercial projects with architects, developers, and main contractors, and individual high-end homeowners fitting out their own properties. Both matter to us, and this role sits across both.
The Role
We're looking for someone who can genuinely operate across two different sales rhythms: the long, relationship-driven, technical sales cycle of commercial tenders, and the shorter, consultative, quote-and-close cycle of residential clients. You'll carry your own pipeline end-to-end; this means you will handle everything from the first conversation through to a signed deal and a smooth handover to installation.
This is a full-cycle sales role: you'll generate new business, respond to inbound enquiries, and manage relationships with existing clients so repeat business and referrals keep coming back to us.
What You'll Own
Commercial & Tender Sales
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, main contractors, and other commercial clients
- Prepare and submit tender responses and technical proposals
- Represent Calvary at trade shows, client meetings, and site visits where commercial opportunities are being developed
Residential Sales
- Handle inbound enquiries from homeowners — via the showroom, website, and referrals
- Cover indoor sales at our CThub2 showroom, including walk-in enquiries and consultations
- Conduct site visits and consultations to scope residential projects accurately
- Prepare quotes and close deals directly with homeowners, from first contact to signed agreement
Account Management
- Maintain relationships with existing clients (both commercial and residential) to drive repeat business and referrals
- Follow up post-installation to ensure satisfaction and catch any issues early
Sales Operations
- Keep an accurate, up-to-date pipeline in our CRM
- Prepare accurate quotes reflecting current pricing and material availability
- Coordinate handover to the installation team so nothing gets lost between "deal signed" and "job done"
- Report on pipeline status, win rates, and forecasted revenue

- 5+ years of sales experience with a track record of hitting targets, regardless of industry
- Comfortable operating across the full sales cycle: prospecting, consultative selling, negotiation, and closing
- Able to shift register naturally between B2B stakeholders (contractors, developers) and individual homeowners
- Willingness to build genuine technical knowledge of timber products and installation considerations
- Own transport, given regular site visits and client meetings across Singapore
- Available to work one Saturday a month for showroom coverage at CThub2
- Comfortable keeping disciplined CRM/pipeline records
Preferred:
- Existing relationships with contractors, developers, architects, or quantity surveyors in Singapore
- Experience preparing or contributing to tender/RFP submissions
- Background in building materials, construction, or a related technical B2B industry
- Additional languages beyond English, useful for a broader client base
