The posting

RightKey Partners is looking for a commercially driven Sales Executive to develop new business across maritime satellite communications, connectivity subscriptions and airtime solutions.

This is a hunter-focused sales opportunity for someone who understands the maritime market and enjoys identifying prospects, building relationships and converting opportunities into revenue.

Previous satellite communications experience is not essential. Maritime connections, proven new-business ability and the willingness to learn technical connectivity solutions are the main priorities.

Location: Pandan Loop

What You Will Be Doing

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the maritime sector • Build relationships with shipowners, ship managers and relevant decision-makers • Understand customer connectivity requirements and recommend suitable solutions • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with revenue and profitability objectives • Prepare and present quotations, commercial proposals and customer presentations • Manage the sales process from initial prospecting through negotiation and closing • Work with Product and Technical Managers to develop suitable customer solutions • Maintain an active pipeline and deliver against agreed sales targets • Coordinate with technical and network-support teams to ensure smooth service delivery • Provide pre-sales assistance and after-sales support • Maintain existing customer relationships while generating new business • Represent the organisation at customer meetings and relevant industry events

Relevant Industry Exposure

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be relevant:

• Maritime technology or marine equipment sales • Shipowner or ship-management services • Satellite communications, airtime or vessel connectivity • Telecommunications or managed network services • Marine electronics and navigation systems • Maritime software, cybersecurity or digital solutions • Offshore or vessel technical services

You do not need previous satellite communications experience. A strong understanding of the maritime market, access to relevant customers and genuine new-business capability are more important.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 1-2 years of relevant B2B sales or business development experience • Existing experience or connections within the maritime industry • Demonstrated ability to prospect, open new accounts and generate business independently • Confidence engaging shipowners, ship managers and senior decision-makers • Strong commercial judgment, communication, presentation and negotiation skills • Results-driven and comfortable working in a hunter-sales environment • Accountable for individual sales activity, pipeline development and results • Ability and willingness to learn maritime satellite communications and connectivity solutions • Diploma or degree in business, marketing, telecommunications, electrical engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous • Previous satcom, airtime, maritime technology or Radio Officer experience would be advantageous but is not essential

Why Consider This Opportunity?

• Join an established maritime technology and connectivity business • Work with dedicated product, technical and 24/7 network-support teams • Develop specialist expertise in a growing maritime connectivity sector • Earn commission based on sales performance after successful completion of probation • Receive fixed transport and phone allowances • Car allowance and complimentary office parking are available for employees who drive • Work directly with the Director of Maritime Connectivity Solutions • Primarily office-based arrangement with some flexibility, subject to performance and business requirements

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.
