The posting

Job title: Sales Engineer/ Sales Manager (Chiller)

Location: Alexandra Rd

Working hours: Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 5.30pm

Remuneration: Up to $7,000 + $1,000 Transport allowance if driving, if not reimburse + AWS + VB

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify, target, and secure new clients across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Technical Sales & Presentation: Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and customized proposals to clients.
  • Customer Advisory: Provide technical consultation and support, addressing customer needs and recommending optimal chiller solutions.
  • Solution Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and technical teams to design and deliver tailored system solutions.
  • End-to-End Sales Management: Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through to closing deals.
  • Contract Negotiation: Prepare, review, and negotiate sales contracts in compliance with company policies and client requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, contractors, and procurement teams.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts for management review and strategic planning.
  • Marketing Support: Contribute to marketing initiatives, including development of sales materials and participation in trade shows and industry events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 3 years of relevant experience in HVAC / chiller systems sales
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into customer-centric solutions
  • Proven ability to manage complex, solution-based sales cycles
