The posting

Our client is a well-established FMCG company. Due to business expansion, they are now recruiting a Sales Manager (MT, GT, Food Services to support their commercial growth. They are located in the West - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and channel performance objectives.
  • Drive sales execution across assigned retail channels and monitor business performance against targets.
  • Manage strategic customer accounts, develop annual business plans, and identify opportunities to expand product distribution and category performance.
  • Oversee commercial negotiations, promotional activities, and customer agreements to maximize business returns.
  • Monitor trade investment and promotional spending to ensure effective budget utilization and profitability.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and business risks.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective execution of commercial initiatives and customer requirements.
  • Manage external sales agencies to ensure execution aligns with commercial objectives and operational standards.
  • Review sales operations and implement process improvements to enhance business efficiency.
  • Lead sales team planning, performance management, and operational execution.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in FMCG commercial or sales management.
  • Experience managing Modern Trade channels and national retail accounts.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading sales operations or commercial teams.
  • Proven experience in trade investment planning, promotional management, and budget control.
  • Strong knowledge of sales analysis, business planning, and retail account management.
