Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Publishing Manager and/or Senior Editor to generate sales materials.
  • Develop and maintain good business relationships with pre-schools, primary, secondary schools, libraries, learning centers, churches etc.
  • Responsible for developing and establishing relationships with Heads of Departments of schools for adoption of our products/books in the schools’ curriculum.
  • Responsible for reaching out to churches for book table sales and other business opportunities.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with distributors.
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across online and offline platforms including but not limited to social media, e-commerce platforms, etc.
  • Responsible for planning the sales budgets and forecasts.
  • Responsible for implementing sales strategy for Armour’s titles and creating go-to market initiatives.
  • Analyse sales data/effectiveness of Sales & Marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct annual reviews of key accounts’ business and make recommendations to drive sales.
  • Monitor market trends in Children, Education, General and Christian genres.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Responsible for meeting sales target set by the Management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of the book publishing trade and its product development life cycles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders of all levels.
  • Driven and results-oriented.
  • Passionate about education and books.
  • Proficient in WordPress website management, WooCommerce, payment gateways, social media platforms such Instagram, Facebook, X, etc.
