The posting

Working with allocated customer groups of LAP (JV’s, Partners, Affiliates) , with the objective of increasing the sales share from these customers for LAP. Key responsibility and accountability are with respect to be Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the allocated customer groups in terms of Pre-Sales customer engagement.

Responsible tasks:

  • Yearly sales target achievement on the allocated customer groups.
  • Being accountable as SPOC for Pre-sales activities
  • Key Tasks include handling customized product enquiries and Price related topics.
  • Supply Chain Collaboration: Work closely with Strategic Vendor Management (SVM) and/or Purchasing Planning Team to obtain competitive quotes for special/standard articles or third party cable accessories.
  • Pro-active in customer engagement and timely response to customer queries as per SLA’s
  • Opportunities/Enquiries tracking& follow up with allocated customer groups of LAP.
  • Regular quotation updates to the reporting Manager (sales meeting, monthly review)
  • Responsible to create/enhance a good communication channel with allocated customers groups of LAP.

Decision authority for the following topics:

  • Price quote to customers on special enquiries and on standard catalogue products for which the price is missing in the standard master price book in line with the price matrix framework defined.
  • Special price/discounts for large project requirements from customers in consultation with reporting Manager.

To be informed about the following:

  • Any change in the standard master price books and/or price markup framework.
  • New Product release, product discontinuation, product change notification to be sent to customers.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Quotation submission speed: Measure the ability to deliver complete technical and commercial quotation within customer’s deadlines and internal service-level agreements (SLAs)
  • Accuracy: Maintain a near-zero error margin
  • Win/Loss Ratio support
