Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Integration Consultant to manage and support SAP environments while ensuring reliable integration between SAP and external systems. The role combines SAP BASIS administration, integration support, system performance, security, and technical troubleshooting across enterprise SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, maintain, and support SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and SAP HANA environments.

• Manage SAP upgrades, patches, transports, system copies, refreshes, and performance optimization

activities.

• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot integrations using RFC, IDoc, OData, REST, SOAP, and SFTP.

• Support SAP Integration Suite, SAP PI/PO, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP Cloud

Connector.

• Investigate and resolve SAP system, middleware, connectivity, and interface incidents within agreed service levels.

• Maintain accurate technical documentation, operating procedures, interface configurations, and system records.

• Support SAP security-related activities including certificates, connectivity, access coordination, and technical controls.

• Support backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery processes for SAP environments.

• Work closely with application, infrastructure, security, network, and external vendor teams to resolve technical issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration and SAP integration support.

• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SAP HANA, and core BASIS administration activities.

• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems, networking concepts, connectivity, and system

troubleshooting.

• Experience with SAP integration technologies and protocols such as RFC, IDoc, OData, REST, SOAP, and SFTP.

• Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite and/or SAP PI/PO.

• Understanding of SAP BTP and SAP Cloud Connector environments.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and incident-management skills.

• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant SAP BASIS, SAP HANA, SAP BTP, or SAP Integration certification.

• Experience supporting enterprise or mission-critical SAP environments.

• Exposure to cloud-hosted or hybrid SAP landscapes and disaster recovery practices.
