About the role

We are looking for an accomplished finance leader to lead the finance function for our Dairy Ingredient Solutions business.

In this strategic leadership role, you will provide financial direction to the business, strengthen financial discipline and reporting, and support sustainable growth in line with our business strategy and commercial priorities. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders while leading a high-performing finance and accounting function.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that support the business’s overall goals and commercial priorities.
  • Lead and govern budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and reporting processes.
  • Direct financial modelling, budgeting and variance analysis to generate actionable insights for commercial and strategic decision-making.
  • Support portfolio management, category development and other business priorities through robust financial analysis.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports in accordance with relevant internal and external requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory requirements, internal policies, audit standards and applicable financial regulations.
  • Review and strengthen internal controls to safeguard the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Lead the financial assessment of business development opportunities.
  • Govern the financial aspects of business development activities and the subsequent integration of new businesses.
  • Oversee treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting, funding requirements and disbursements.
  • Monitor developments in finance best practices and identify opportunities for adoption across the business.
  • Assess and continuously improve financial and accounting systems, tools and processes.
  • Build effective relationships with external stakeholders to represent and strengthen ofi’s position.
  • Develop and lead an effective, high-performing finance and accounting function.
  • Coach and mentor team members while supporting career development and building a sustainable talent pipeline.

What you will bring

  • 15 years of relevant experience within a global manufacturing or processing organisation.
  • Experience in food or Dairy manufacturing or processing MNC a strong advantage.
  • Significant experience combining strategic finance leadership with strong operational execution.
  • Broad financial expertise across planning, reporting, compliance, commercial finance and performance improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse global finance teams.
  • Strong experience managing budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Proven commercial acumen, including supporting growth and profit enhancement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • The ability to communicate and present clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across a complex stakeholder matrix.
  • Strong attention to detail and a clear value-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated people leadership, coaching and team-development capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Recognized degree in Accountancy or Business
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or a related professional finance qualification.
