The posting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service & Reception: Serve as the primary point of contact by answering high volumes of phone calls, managing walk-in visitors, taking messages, and addressing enquiries from parents, students, vendors, and staff.
  • Student Attendance Tracking: Call parents of absent pupils every morning to verify their status and convey important school updates or messages during ad-hoc or special events.
  • Student Welfare Assistance: Provide first-level assistance to walk-in pupils with immediate needs, including sick and injured students, and escalate cases immediately to office colleagues if they are beyond superficial conditions.
  • Operations Support: Support the administration of school canteen matters, utilities tracking, Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) applications, fee arrears, and school bus bookings.
  • Office Administration: Update the school activity notice board with high data accuracy, maintain and replenish the office forms cabinet, execute general typing duties, and manage store supplies during school holidays.

Working Hours & Schedule

  • Days: Mondays to Fridays.
  • Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (includes a 30-minute lunch break).
  • Rest Days: Services are strictly not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of a Full GCE N-Level or O-Level certificate or its verified equivalent.
  • Skills & Experience: Strong communication and interpersonal skills specialized for front-desk and reception duties, preferably within a local school environment.
  • Attributes: A dedicated team player showing a high level of personal initiative and a mindset equipped to handle the realistic challenges of a primary school setting.
  • System Proficiency: Ability to utilize school-implemented IT platforms for digital administrative workflows.
  • Availability: Must be fully available to attend a mandatory interview with the school authorities before the formal contract bidding period expires.
