If you enjoy hands-on technical work, solving challenges, and developing your career in a fast-growing industry, we want to hear from you.

The role provides excellent opportunities to travel across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, supporting the delivery of high-profile data centre and network infrastructure projects. Successful candidates will gain exposure to diverse customer environments, international project teams, and leading technologies throughout the region. Flexibility is required, as overtime, evening and occasional weekend work, may be necessary to support project delivery and customer requirements.

What You Will Be Doing

As an SCS & Fibre Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring high-performance network connectivity across complex environments.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Install, terminate, and test copper (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a) and fibre optic cabling (single-mode and multi-mode) in data centres and office environments.
  • Comprehensive fibre optic knowledge with pre-terminated MPO plug and play and conventional and ribbon fibre systems is essential.
  • Label and document cable installations according to industry standards and company requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and repair cabling issues, including identifying faulty connections and resolving connectivity problems.
  • Perform cable routing, dressing, and patching to maintain an organised and efficient data centre or office environment.
  • Adhere to safety standards and best practices while working in high-density server and network environments.
  • Conduct cable testing using OTDR, OLTS, and cable certifiers.
  • Assist with equipment moves, additions, and changes (MACs) as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of cable infrastructure, including diagrams and labelling schemes
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to support network and IT infrastructure needs.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
