Position Summary:

We are seeking a Sales Manager (Blower) to spearhead our South Asia markets. This role will drive revenue growth by crafting innovative commercial strategies, leading high-performing teams, and cultivating long-term partnerships. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record to grow revenue in industrial market, expertise in diverse Asian markets, and the cultural agility to navigate cross-border dynamics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue, profitability, and market share targets across South Asia.
  • Take full ownership of the regional sales performance of the Blower business, including SSI-related opportunities.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, applications, and market segments to drive sustainable growth.
  • Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with existing and new channel partners, distributors, and key customers.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities and optimize commercial strategies.
  • Prepare and execute annual sales plans, forecasts, and business development initiatives.

Customer & Channel Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, EPCs, OEMs, and other strategic partners.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and support contract discussions to secure profitable business opportunities.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication, responsiveness, and solution-oriented support.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to provide customers with value-added solutions and technical expertise.

Financial & Operational Management

  • Manage the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification, quotation preparation, order acquisition, and project execution support through to timely payment collection.
  • Support budget planning, sales forecasting, and business performance monitoring to ensure achievement of financial objectives.
  • Maintain strong sales pipeline visibility and provide accurate business forecasts to management.
  • Drive continuous improvements in sales processes and operational efficiency to enhance productivity and customer experience.

Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Lead, coach, and develop local sales resources and channel partners to achieve business goals.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and contribute to building a high-performance culture.
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure successful business execution.
  • Share market intelligence and customer insights to influence product strategy and business decisions.
  • Work closely with China-based business, engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure effective alignment of regional growth strategies, customer requirements, and project execution across South Asia markets.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all business activities comply with company policies, local regulations, trade compliance requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial, contractual, and operational risks within the region.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years in commercial leadership roles, with 5+ years in senior management.
  • Proven success driving growth in industrial market.
  • Strategic thinker with expertise in market analysis, negotiation, and management.
  • Culturally adept with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success leading business initiatives across multiple countries and cultures.
