Job Summary

Join MAI as a Secondary School Teacher

- English or

- Science

to create engaging learning experiences and nurture confident, capable students ready for the future.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging, meaningful lessons in English or Science to secondary school students
  • Apply strong subject knowledge to support student learning and achievement
  • Develop and implement curriculum materials aligned with the secondary school syllabus
  • Use effective classroom instruction techniques to foster student understanding and participation
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate with students, colleagues, and the wider school community
  • Organize and manage classroom activities to create a positive learning environment
  • Contribute positively to school initiatives and community activities supporting student development

Required competencies and certifications

  • Possess a recognised Bachelor’s Degree or higher in the relevant subject or related discipline
  • Demonstrate good understanding of the secondary school curriculum
  • MOE or NIE-trained teachers with relevant experience are preferred but not mandatory
  • Only Singapore Citizens or Singapore PRs need to apply

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience in teaching, curriculum development, or implementation is advantageous
