The posting

Our client is a leading energy storage terminal operator in Singapore, providing secure, efficient, and reliable storage solutions for the energy industry. Due to their current expansion plans, they are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. They are located in the West – Jurong Island.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm

Location: Jurong Island (Transport provided from Jurong East and Lakeside MRT)

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and tax reporting.
  • Monitor working capital, cash flow forecasts, bank reconciliations and cash management.
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including balance sheet reconciliation and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with SFRS, statutory requirements and internal controls, while improving financial processes.
  • Coordinate annual statutory audits, internal audits and liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary and government authorities.
  • Prepare business and statistical surveys, and support the Finance Manager in other projects and ad hoc assignments.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy/Business or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including supervision of junior accounts executives
  • O&G industry experience will be advantageous
