About The Role

We are an innovator in converting waste-based feedstocks into green energy solutions, including sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO). EcoCeres Singapore serves as a key trading arm of the EcoCeres Group.

What You'll Do

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Take ownership of the full spectrum of accounting and month-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.
  • Prepare financial reports, account reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, and supporting analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, Singapore accounting standards, corporate policies, and internal control requirements.
  • Maintain lease registry
  • Coordinate year-end audits and serve as the main liaison with external auditors.

Tax & Compliance

  • Support corporate tax, GST filings, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and coordinate information required by tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

Others

  • Assist in import and export LC/SBLC submission.
  • Assist the Global Team in payments as required.

What You'll Need

  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance.
  • At least 4 years' experience in commodities or oil industries.
  • Strong knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) and Singapore accounting standards, Singapore taxation, internal control.
  • Experience in handling Letter of Credit (LC) / Standby Letter of Credit (SBLC).
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A team player, collaborative, organized, driven individual with good attention to details, resourceful, and tenacity to follow through.
  • At least fair proficiency in spoken Mandarin for communication with China-based stakeholders, as well as in reading Chinese-language documents.
