Job Summary

Manage full sets of client accounts on monthly, quarterly, or yearly cycles. Analyze financial progress with clients and ensure accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations, and timely month-end and year-end closings to support compliance and reporting needs.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts for clients on monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis to ensure accurate financial records
  • Analyze financial data and explain financial progress to clients to support informed decision-making
  • Monitor clients’ financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity
  • Assist clients in preparing monthly financial reports and submissions to meet regulatory deadlines
  • Perform general accounting tasks including bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and filing of returns to maintain compliance
  • Execute month-end and year-end closing processes to finalize client accounts accurately and timely

Required competencies and certifications

  • Hold accounting professional qualifications or a recognised Diploma/Professional Degree in Accountancy or Finance
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in handling sensitive financial information
  • Exhibit attention to detail and task orientation to ensure accuracy in accounting processes
  • Possess knowledge of accounting regulations, procedures, and accounting software to perform core duties effectively

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Preferably have 4 years of experience in the accountancy field to enhance job performance and client service
