Senior Accounts Executive
Roles and Responsibilities
- Handle and maintain a full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation and fixed assets.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing, including accruals, prepayments and journal entries.
- Prepare and submit GST returns, GST reconciliations and supporting documents in compliance with IRAS requirements.
- Support corporate taxation, including ECI, tax schedules, tax computation and liaison with tax agents.
- Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors for annual statutory audits.
- Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting and budget-versus-actual analysis.
- Ensure proper financial controls, documentation, approval processes and compliance with accounting policies.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, government agencies and internal departments on finance-related matters.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with experience handling a full set of accounts.
- Good knowledge of Singapore GST, taxation and accounting requirements.
- Proficient in accounting software such as Xero and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to work independently.
