- Handle admissions consultation, sales and conversion for the doctoral programme, proactively identifying prospective students’ needs, providing professional programme advice, and driving admissions targets.
- Develop a strong understanding of the doctoral programme’s positioning, delivery model, admission criteria and key features, and engage prospective students through professional assessment and targeted communication based on their educational background, professional experience and career development plans.
- Handle the full admissions process from initial enquiry, needs assessment and programme matching through to enrolment, while ensuring appropriate student selection and quality.
- Proactively develop and maintain quality admissions channels and student recruitment resources, including partnerships with industry, corporate organisations and professional institutions.
- Support programme promotion, admissions briefings and information sessions, and continuously refine admissions strategies and conversion approaches based on market and recruitment feedback.
- Support admissions consultation and related activities for other higher education programmes as assigned by the Institute.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in admissions, education consulting, education sales, business development or related fields.
- Experience in higher education, Master’s or doctoral programme admissions, high-end education consulting, key account sales or high-value product sales will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of higher education and doctoral programmes, with strong business communication, needs analysis and consultative sales skills.
- Strong sales orientation, target-driven mindset and results focus, with the ability to independently drive prospective student conversion and achieve admissions targets.
- Strong ability to develop resources and build relationships; experience with admissions channels, industry networks or quality student recruitment resources will be an advantage.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken Chinese is required as the role involves regular communication and coordination with Chinese-speaking partner universities, faculty members, students, and external organizations, as well as the preparation and review of academic and administrative documents in Chinese.
