About the Role

As a key technical member of the team, you will independently drive the development and optimisation of core modules, participate in technical decision-making, and help build high-performance, highly available global products.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead the development of the Cocos/Unity game container infrastructure, tackling complex technical challenges such as dynamic delivery and high-performance native bridging.
  2. Independently design, develop, and iteratively optimise complex social features (e.g., social games, instant messaging, and feed streams), ensuring code quality and maintainability.
  3. Systematically drive application performance optimisation by leading initiatives on startup speed, memory usage, and package size, and establishing team performance standards.
  4. Drive the evolution of component-based architecture and build development toolchains to significantly improve team R&D efficiency and quality.
  5. Lead key technology selection, write technical documentation, mentor junior engineers, and conduct code reviews.

Job Requirement:

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline, with 3–5 years of experience in commercial Android application development.
  2. Proficiency in Java or Kotlin, with an in-depth understanding of Android system internals and hands-on experience in performance optimisation, memory management, and multi-threading.
  3. Strong capability in architecting complex business solutions, with proven experience in independently designing, developing, and delivering medium-to-large-scale feature modules.
  4. Familiarity with the principles of common open-source frameworks, with solid skills in technology selection and problem diagnosis.
  5. Strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a proactive approach to driving project delivery.

Preferred:

  1. Hands-on experience in integrating and communicating with game engines such as Cocos or Unity.
  2. Experience in developing high-concurrency social games, instant messaging (IM), or audio/video-related projects.
  3. Familiarity with modern Android development stacks such as Jetpack Compose and Kotlin Coroutines/Flow.
  4. Experience in componentisation, architecture design, or performance-tuning tool development.
  5. Experience in globalised application development or large-scale social/gaming projects.
  6. Development experience in C/C++ or Rust.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
