The posting

Responsibilities:

You will support the Director, Research and Deputy CEO(Research, Innovation & Education). You will have management oversight andaccountability for the Research Department’s administration, operations,technology and innovation support, strategic research initiatives, conferences,meetings and all research-related activities.

You will lead, direct and drive organization-widestrategies to achieve organizational efficiency, promote a culture ofexcellence through enhanced processes, nurture a safe, inclusive and conduciveresearch environment and facilitate partnerships with local and internationalcollaborators and industry partners. You will promote professional ethics andwork integrity among the research team.

You will oversee administrative, operations,events-related, technology and innovation support activities within and acrossrelevant departments to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, you willsupport the Academic Chair to oversee the academic initiatives under the OralHealth Academic Clinical Program (ORH ACP) and the research initiatives underthe National Dental Research Institute of Singapore (NDRIS). This includes theacademic and research strategic planning and implementation of the ORH ACP’sand NDRIS academic and research masterplans and strategic initiatives;formulating and reviewing academic and research policies and procedures, leadingscientific communication and research dissemination initiatives to enhance thenational and international visibility of NDRIS and the ORH ACP; preparinghigh-quality strategic reports, briefing papers, executive correspondence andinstitutional documents; and supporting the Director and Deputy CEO in thepreparation of presentations, keynote lectures, Board papers and othermaterials for senior leadership, scientific meetings and external stakeholders.

You will also coordinate the development ofcommunication materials that showcase research achievements, strategicinitiatives and institutional impact across academic, clinical, governmentaland international audiences.

Requirements:

· PhD/ Masters in Science orother related field with minimum 12 years of relevant experience in researchand academic administration

· At least 6 years of supervisoryexperience will be preferred

· Able to work independently,lead a team and function well in a team-based setting

· Possess good leadership,interpersonal skills, presentation deck development, communication,organizational capabilities, time-management, analytical and writing skills

· Highly motivated with strongability to drive initiatives
