  • Salary: Specialist: Up to $5,500 / Senior Specialist: Up to $6,500 + 1 month gratuity
  • Working Day: 5 days
  • Working Hours: 8.30am to 6pm (Mon-Thu), 8.30am to 5.30pm (Fri)
  • Location: Central (Relocating to Paya Lebar / Tai Seng area around Q2 2027)
  • This is a 1-year contract role, with potential renewal or conversion based on performance and organizational headcount.

This role supports the Business Development & Strategic Partnerships team in financial analysis, business case development, market research, commercial evaluation, operating models, contract coordination and partnership projects. Working closely with the Deputy Director, the role provides analysis, planning and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Financial Modelling & Commercial Evaluation

  • Develop and maintain financial models for new partnership opportunities, business initiatives and strategic projects.
  • Conduct financial feasibility, scenario and sensitivity analysis, including evaluation of revenue, costs, profitability, contribution margins and ROI.
  • Support pricing assumptions, partner commercial structures and financial scenarios, and prepare commercial analysis and recommendations for management decision-making.

Business Cases, Operating Models & Strategic Analysis

  • Prepare business cases for new partnerships, courses, regional initiatives and strategic projects.
  • Develop operating models covering roles, responsibilities, delivery arrangements, service scope and implementation considerations.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking, and identify opportunities, risks, dependencies and key decision points.

Partnerships & Contracts

  • Support new university partnerships, regional opportunities and business development initiatives.
  • Coordinate university and commercial contracts, agreement schedules, articulation arrangements and related documentation.
  • Work with Legal and internal stakeholders to coordinate contract reviews and assess financial, commercial, operational and implementation implications.
  • Ensure contract-related assumptions are aligned with financial models, business cases, operating models and implementation plans.

Strategic Proposals & Management Materials

  • Prepare proposals, management papers, TMM reports and Board-level materials, including financial schedules, market analysis, operating models and commercial summaries.
  • Consolidate business, academic, operational, market, legal and financial inputs into clear, accurate and decision-ready materials.

Project Coordination & Follow-Through

  • Coordinate assigned project workstreams, tracking timelines, deliverables, action owners, dependencies, contract milestones and follow-up items.
  • Support implementation planning for approved initiatives and provide structured updates on progress, risks, outstanding matters and decision points.

Market & Portfolio Analytics

  • Analyse partnership performance, pipeline opportunities, contract obligations and commercial outlook.
  • Prepare dashboards, summaries and analytical reports to support strategic planning and partnership decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or Business; postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in business development, business planning, commercial analysis, financial modelling, corporate planning, consulting, commercial/contract coordination or strategic projects.
  • Strong financial modelling, commercial and analytical skills, with strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Experience in higher education, partnerships, transnational education, commercial contracts or similarly complex stakeholder environments would be advantageous.
