The posting

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager, to join a leading premium food brand and play a key role in growing its presence across the Singapore market.

This is a commercially focused role, responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with premium food service and retail customers, as well as distributor partners. You will identify new opportunities, grow existing accounts and drive revenue, volume and profitability across the market.

You’ll work closely with regional and cross-functional teams to deliver customer growth, strengthen partnerships and expand the brand’s position within Singapore.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributor partners, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and execute account plans and joint business initiatives aligned with customer and commercial objectives.
  • Drive revenue, volume and margin growth through effective account management, pricing and commercial planning.
  • Work with customers and distributors on forecasting, demand planning and inventory management.
  • Monitor account performance, identify risks and opportunities.
  • Support contract negotiations and commercial initiatives while continuously looking for ways to improve customer and business performance.
  • Stay close to market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5–10 years experience in Key Account Management, National Account Management or Business Development.
  • A proven track record of growing strategic customer relationships and delivering revenue, volume and profitability growth.
  • Experience managing large or complex accounts and developing structured customer and account plans.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities, negotiate effectively and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Experience within premium foodservice, FMCG, protein or a related industry would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to turn market and customer insights into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at multiple levels..
  • A results-driven mindset with strong ownership and accountability for commercial performance.
