The posting

Drive B2B revenue growth by engaging corporate clients, HR managers, and L&D executives to identify workforce upskilling needs. In this role, you will consult with business clients to recommend, package, and secure tailored training solutions across key domains such as Leadership, Digital Transformation, Business Analytics, and Executive Development.

Core Responsibilities

This role requires a consultative sales approach, strong relationship-building skills, and the confidence to present corporate learning proposals to HR decision-makers and senior managers.

1. Client Consultation & Solution Packaging

  • Identify Training Needs: Conduct discovery calls and meetings with HR and business managers to assess team skill gaps and learning objectives.
  • Customize Proposals: Work with internal subject matter experts to tailor standard course outlines, modules, and schedules into compelling corporate proposals.
  • Present Solutions: Deliver clear, structured pitches highlighting course impact, trainer credentials, and available government subsidies (e.g., IBF / SkillsFuture).

2. Business Development & Account Acquisition

  • Lead Prospecting & Pipeline: Follow up on inbound corporate inquiries, reactivate warm leads, and proactively prospect new mid-to-large enterprise accounts.
  • Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage end-to-end sales engagements from initial contact to proposal submission, contract negotiation, and closing.
  • Quota Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual individual revenue targets across custom and group-run training programs.

3. Account Management & Relationship Building

  • Client Retention: Nurture relationships with corporate HR and L&D partners to secure repeat workshop runs and annual training calendar bookings.
  • Upselling & Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to introduce additional training topics and certifications across different business departments.

4. Operational & Delivery Coordination

  • Internal Alignment: Coordinate with program operations and trainer management teams to ensure smooth handoffs for confirmed corporate runs.
  • CRM Maintenance: Keep accurate client records, pipeline stages, and revenue forecasts updated in the CRM system.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Sales Target Achievement: Consistent monthly and annual revenue generation against assigned quota.
  • Pipeline Conversion: Ratio of submitted proposals to successfully closed corporate deals.
  • Client Renewal Rate: Repeat training bookings from existing corporate accounts.
  • Activity Metrics: Consistent pipeline velocity (outreach, client meetings held, proposals sent).

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: 2–4 years of successful B2B consultative sales, business development, or account management experience (experience in Corporate L&D, Education, Training, or HR services is a strong advantage).
  • Consultative Communication: Strong presentation, pitch creation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with HR managers and business heads.
  • Commercial Drive: Results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly understand training curricula, corporate funding frameworks (e.g., SkillsFuture/IBF subsidies), and L&D requirements.
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related discipline.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
