About the Role

We are looking for an engineering or facilities professional to support the management of healthcare facilities, biomedical equipment and infrastructure-related projects.

This role combines facilities management, vendor coordination, biomedical equipment support and project administration, and is suitable for candidates with early-career experience in facilities, engineering or project coordination.

You will work closely with contractors, consultants, healthcare users and internal stakeholders to ensure facilities and equipment remain safe, compliant and operational.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance and day-to-day facilities management of multiple healthcare sites.
  • Coordinate preventive, corrective and ad hoc maintenance works with contractors and vendors.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections and monitor contractor performance against established requirements and service standards.
  • Support contract administration and follow up on maintenance-related issues and deliverables.
  • Gather and consolidate user requirements for facilities and infrastructure projects and coordinate completion within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Monitor preventive maintenance programmes for biomedical, physiotherapy and dental equipment.
  • Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance activities between healthcare users, vendors and service providers.
  • Track and coordinate renewal of licences and regulatory requirements for applicable medical and facility equipment.
  • Support facilities development and upgrading projects, including workgroup meetings and site meetings.
  • Maintain project documentation including databases, SOPs, drawings, records, project status reports and Gantt charts.
  • Process project progress claims, invoices and related documentation while coordinating queries with Finance, consultants and contractors.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives relating to facility reliability, contractor performance and operational processes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or an equivalent discipline.
  • Candidates with approximately 0-2 years of relevant facilities, maintenance, engineering or project experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with project-management software or Gantt-chart planning tools would be advantageous.
  • Fire Safety Manager certification would be an advantage.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management abilities.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal users, vendors and contractors.
  • Able to manage multiple activities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and good administrative discipline.
