An Insurtech start-up is looking for a (Senior) Machine Learning Engineer to join their team.

Your new role

As a (Senior) Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Build automated pipelines that transform raw data into clean, feature-ready datasets.
  • Develop feature engineering and ETL components for machine learning and analytics.
  • Manage pipeline orchestration, balancing reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain machine learning workflows, model monitoring, drift detection, and data quality controls.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate reliable outputs into products.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • 7+ years' experience building and scaling production data and machine learning pipelines.
  • Strong expertise in ETL, feature engineering, orchestration, and cloud data platforms.
  • Proficient in Python, Spark, and machine learning frameworks including scikit-learn and XGBoost.
  • Experienced in designing robust data quality, validation, and governance frameworks.
  • Skilled in production monitoring, model performance tracking, and drift detection.
  • Familiar with Azure, Databricks, and healthcare, insurance, or claims data environments.
