  • Perform advanced 2-axis CNC turning and 5-axis CNC milling with minimal supervision.
  • Select suitable cutting tools, fixtures, and machining strategies for precision components.
  • Ensure machine setups are accurate and capable of achieving tight tolerances and superior surface finishes.

Technical Interpretation and Process Planning

  • Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM data.
  • Determine machining methods, process flow, and operation sequences for efficient production.
  • Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
  • Provide technical recommendations to improve manufacturability, reduce cost, and enhance efficiency.

Measurement and Quality Control

  • Conduct precise measurements and inspections using micrometers, Vernier calipers, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
  • Verify that all machined components meet quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve dimensional discrepancies, defects, and machining issues.

CNC Programming and Optimization

  • Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs to improve machining performance and reduce cycle time.
  • Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and tool paths based on materials and production requirements.
  • Continuously improve machining processes to increase productivity, consistency, and efficiency.

Machine Maintenance and Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, process deviations, and tooling issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor machine repairs.
  • Ensure machines are operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with production requirements.

Leadership and Production Support

  • Mentor and guide junior machinists and machine operators on machining techniques and best practices.
  • Support production scheduling and ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.
  • Work closely with supervisors and engineers to achieve production targets and quality objectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts on the shop floor.

Workplace and Team Collaboration

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with workplace safety standards.
  • Document machining processes, improvements, and production issues accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • NTC / ITC / Diploma in Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in CNC machining or precision manufacturing.
  • Strong hands-on experience in 2-axis CNC turning and 5-axis CNC milling.
  • Proven ability to independently perform machine setup, CNC programming, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
  • Solid knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, materials, and machining techniques.
  • Experience in process optimization and continuous improvement is an advantage.
  • Willing to work shifts when required.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
