RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position is for College of Integrative Studies (CIS / IPCC Working Group II Technical Support Unit).
  • Serve as the Singapore-side operational lead for the IPCC Technical Support Unit (TSU), coordinating with the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) where required and management of the financial reporting responsibilities.
  • Work in support of the TSU operational team for the IPCC Sixty-sixth session in March 2027, which includes SRCities operational matters, including coordinating process amongst authors where required.
  • Manage SRCities Operational delivery contracts for the delivery of the copyedit and typesetting & layout of the publication and its summary products.
  • Support review-round operations, including reviewer registration, comment management tools and author access.
  • Support the Head of Operations for the WGII AR7 Compilation process for the Second Order Draft Delivery due, including leading the preparation of the Expert Review Platform.
  • Prepare budgets, cost controls and financial reports for the Singapore office and for MSE and other relevant term funds.
  • Coordinate with TSU colleagues in Delft on operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, international relations, public policy, business administration, management or a related field with at least 7 to 10 years' experience in operations, programme management or general management, including at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including planning and delivering several complex projects at once against fixed deadlines, tracking milestones and dependencies, managing risks, and reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in general administration, including office management, procurement, supplier contracts, records and document management, HR administration, travel and expense processing, and compliance with institutional policies.
  • Experience managing externally funded grants, including budgeting, cost control, financial reporting and grant closure.
  • Experience working in a multicultural or international environment; familiarity with academic or research institutions is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage professionally with international scientists, government officials, and institutional stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to draft formal institutional correspondence, operational documents and SOPs.
