Job Description
- Develop and maintain procurement governance frameworks, policies, standards, and compliance mechanisms.
- Drive category management best practices, sourcing methodologies, negotiation excellence, and capability development programmes.
- Design and enhance supplier relationship management frameworks, supplier performance monitoring, and development initiatives.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Quality to maximise procurement value delivery.
- Lead procurement cost improvement programmes, value tracking, and total cost optimisation initiatives.
- Strengthen contract governance, supplier risk management, compliance monitoring, and audit readiness.
- Drive digital procurement transformation through analytics, automation, procurement systems, and data-driven decision making.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimally 8 years of experience within Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or Procurement Excellence functions.
- Minimally 3 years of experience in leadership roles, with demonstrated experience leading procurement transformation, governance, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract management, and procurement best practices.
- Professional procurement qualifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Experience developing procurement policies, frameworks, methodologies, and management reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business leaders.
- Proven commercial and analytical skills, including cost modelling, savings validation, and value tracking.
- Experience working with procurement technology platforms, spend analytics, and digital procurement solutions.
