The posting

  • Ensure facility and security documents are duly executed and in order for implementation.
  • Prepare/check draft facility letter and documents for signing by customers.
  • Perform redemption of facilities for Private Banking facilities (including but not limited to Premium Financing, Lombard Loan).
  • Manage the daily routine operations in an efficient manner, while delivering good quality services to internal and external customers (including but not limited to account opening process, new account set-up, provide general banking services including remittance, deals executions, complete client’s banking instructions, account maintenance, day-end order reconciliation, audit confirmation etc.).
  • To review and approve investment related transactions in accordance to MAS regulations and internal guidance.
  • Ensure that operational processes while collaborating with front office in HK and SG, and other business units are in full compliance with the Bank’s policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Set-up new accounts and maintenance in the system and custody of the account-opening file for regular post-acceptance review.
  • Process/check transactions relating to fixed/structured deposits placement and maintenance.
  • Process/checks loan transactions and loan administration tasks.
  • Process/check account operation-related transactions in accordance to internal procedures and external regulatory guidelines.
  • Process/check transaction of investment products and other PB products where applicable.
  • Work closely with HO’s counterparts to ensure daily transaction are processed, settled and issues, if any are resolved accordingly.
  • Perform facility & security documents supports and safekeeping custody.
  • Lead &/or participate in User Acceptance Testing (UATs) and system testing.
  • Familiar with the end-to-end flow of lending product life cycle.
  • Report preparation &/or checking under various workstreams.
  • Perform any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

AML/CTF Responsibilities

  • Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering / counter terrorist financing requirement and sanction risks controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.

Job Requirements

1. Education Qualifications

  • Minimum “A” levels or Diploma holder.

2. Working Experiences

  • 2-3 years banking experience with knowledge in account opening and KYC procedure is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Avaloq system is essential.
  • Knowledge in credit administration and loan administration.

3. Business Knowledge

  • Basic knowledge in account operations and KYC procedures.
  • Basic knowledge in credit administration and loan administration.
  • Familiar with anti-money laundering and know-your-client requirements.
  • Knowledge on client management, operation support and process improvement.
