The posting

The Senior Producer is responsible for leading the end-to-end development and execution of video productions across corporate, government, broadcast, digital and social media platforms. The role oversees the full production lifecycle — from conceptualisation and pre-production planning to on-ground execution and post-production delivery — ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high creative and technical standard.

The role requires strong storytelling instincts, production leadership, stakeholder management and the ability to manage multiple fast-turnaround projects in a dynamic agency environment. The Senior Producer is also expected to mentor junior producers and production crew, uphold production SOPs, and contribute towards strengthening organisational capabilities in emerging production technologies and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management & Execution

  • Lead and manage the full video production process from ideation to final delivery.
  • Develop creative concepts, treatments, production approaches and storytelling strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Oversee production schedules, manpower deployment, logistics, budgeting and vendor coordination.
  • Manage shoots across studio, field, overseas and live-event environments.
  • Ensure production quality, technical standards and visual consistency across all deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and provide practical on-ground solutions during shoots

Creative Development

  • Work closely with creative, editorial and account servicing teams to conceptualise compelling content and campaign narratives.
  • Translate client briefs into engaging visual storytelling formats suitable for digital, broadcast and social platforms.
  • Provide creative direction on filming style, pacing, interview approaches, graphics integration and overall narrative flow.
  • Review scripts, storyboards and edits to ensure alignment with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Serve as the main production point-of-contact for clients, talents, agencies and partners during projects.
  • Present production concepts, filming approaches and creative recommendations confidently to stakeholders.
  • Manage client expectations, timelines and feedback throughout the production process.
  • Build strong working relationships with Government stakeholders, agencies and production partners.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Supervise and guide producers, videographers, editors and freelancers on assigned projects.
  • Ensure adherence to production SOPs, equipment protocols and operational workflows.
  • Conduct pre-production briefings and post-project reviews to strengthen team performance and operational standards.
  • Mentor junior staff and support capability development within the production team.

Production Operations & Resource Planning

  • Coordinate equipment bookings, crew deployment, filming permits and production logistics.
  • Ensure productions are executed efficiently while maintaining prudent cost management.
  • Monitor production timelines and resource utilisation to support operational efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of improved workflows and production systems.

Post-Production Oversight

  • Oversee editing workflows, review rough cuts and ensure quality control before delivery.
  • Work with editors, motion graphics artists and sound designers to ensure creative consistency.
  • Ensure final deliverables meet platform specifications, broadcast standards and client requirements.

Innovation & Capability Development

  • Keep abreast of emerging production trends, AI-assisted workflows, virtual production and evolving digital content formats.
  • Explore new production technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and creative output.
  • Contribute ideas to strengthen the organisation’s production capabilities and creative offerings.

Requirements

  • Degree, Diploma or equivalent experience in Film, Media Production, Communications or related disciplines.
  • At least 6–8 years of relevant experience in video production, agency, broadcast or communications environments.
  • Strong understanding of production workflows, camera operations, lighting, audio and post-production processes.
  • Experience managing Government or corporate communications projects will be advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with social media video formats and digital-first storytelling approaches.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, weekends or overseas where required by production schedules.

Preferred Competencies

  • Strong storytelling and editorial judgement.
  • Calm and decisive under pressure.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Resourceful and solution-oriented.
  • Good understanding of production budgeting and scheduling.
  • Ability to lead crews and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Timely delivery of productions within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Quality and effectiveness of video deliverables.
  • Client satisfaction and stakeholder feedback.
  • Adherence to production SOPs and operational standards.
  • Efficient manpower and resource utilisation.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
