Scope of Work

Lead and manage Tosca test automation as a shared capability for selected on-premise systems operating in secure environments, with direct accountability to the HDB ISG QM Section. This role covers the Tosca automation strategy and roadmap, adoption priorities, stakeholder engagement, licence utilisation, implementation standards, measurable outcomes, and management of a team of SQEs supporting Tosca adoption and testing capability uplift. The Product Manager will lead the SQE team and work with project teams, vendors, and system owners to drive the controlled and sustainable adoption of Tosca, while ensuring alignment with HDB quality, security, and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the Tosca product roadmap, adoption priorities, and implementation approach in line with ISG quality objectives.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify suitable systems, test scenarios, and regression areas where Tosca automation can deliver clear value.
  • Plan and manage the transition roadmap from manual testing to automation, with Tosca as the key tool for priority systems and other tools considered only where they better fit the technology stack or testing need.
  • Manage and coach a team of SQEs supporting Tosca adoption, testing capability uplift, automation implementation, and quality improvement across selected systems.
  • Track and report Tosca adoption progress, licence utilisation, automation coverage, benefits, risks, and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
  • Establish Tosca usage standards, reusable automation assets, naming conventions, evidence capture practices, and governance checkpoints.
  • Review test artefacts, automation assets, and evidence records to ensure they are reusable, maintainable, and aligned with automation objectives.
  • Manage Tosca usage in secure environments, including setup constraints, access arrangements, and compliance with security protocols.
  • Guide structured test design practices that improve automation readiness, including reusable test cases, clear test data needs, and traceable expected results.
  • Collaborate with the HDB ISG QM Section to align Tosca adoption with organisational quality objectives and provide regular progress and outcome updates.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years in software testing, quality assurance, test automation, or product/platform management for enterprise systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading an automation strategy and roadmap, automation platform, testing service, or equivalent capability across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience managing, coaching, or providing work direction to a team of SQEs, testers, or quality engineers.
  • Hands-on experience with Tosca test automation is essential, including designing reusable test cases, maintaining automation assets, and supporting automation execution.
  • Strong understanding of test management methodologies, software delivery practices, Agile ways of working, and automation readiness.
  • Ability to prioritise automation demand, balance stakeholder needs, and translate testing pain points into a practical Tosca adoption roadmap.
  • Ability to define adoption metrics and communicate progress, benefits, risks, and issues clearly to management and project teams.
  • Experience supporting enterprise systems in Singapore public sector or comparable secure and regulated environments.
  • Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools, such as Jira.

Desirable Product and Automation Experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline or experience.
  • Professional testing certification, such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent.
  • Certified in Tricentis Tosca Architect or equivalent advanced Tosca automation certification.
  • Experience planning or supporting Tosca setup in government cloud or secure environments, such as the Government Commercial Cloud, and integrating test automation with CI/CD tools or pipelines.
  • Experience with API test automation and complementary automation tools or frameworks, such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, or Postman.
  • Experience tracking automation delivery, coverage, execution results, risks, benefits, user feedback, licence utilisation, and operational support issues.
  • Experience in government or public sector IT projects.
  • Knowledge of performance, security, and non-functional testing practices.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
