Overview of the role
You will be accountable for delivering successful initiatives that build the total brand maximizing O-TSR. The Initiative Leader is responsible for leading the multi-functional team & activities of a multi-functional team to develop and execute a comprehensive initiative plan to deliver in-market success. Initiative leaders should be well prepared and equipped to take on full leadership of the initiative if needed, per the OU structure.
Your team
This role reports to the Innovation Director and works closely with the Commercial/ Technical Readiness/ Go-To-Market leader on qualification, execution to support a successful launch.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver end-to-end initiatives that drive business growth and successful market execution.
- Manage cross-functional teams across Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and other business functions.
- Develop and maintain initiative plans, timelines, budgets, and execution roadmaps.
- Define initiative success criteria, identify risks, and implement mitigation and corrective actions.
- Drive commercial, technical, and market readiness to ensure on-time launches and operational excellence.
- Build alignment with stakeholders and support effective decision-making through clear communication and issue framing.
- Monitor initiative progress, market performance, and external trends to optimize business outcomes.
- Lead change management efforts while balancing speed, scope, cost, and risk.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within multifunctional teams.
- Coach and support teams on initiative management best practices and capability development.
Role Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Beauty care with prior supply chain, initiatives planning experience.
- Strong project management skills, ability to lead multiple initiatives and handle complexity with confidence. Proven field, outstanding time management skills, ability to set priorities and be accountable from concept to final design execution with excellence.
- Proactive leadership skills and the ability to identify design opportunities that can impact the business.
- Ability to engage and influence across multiple business partners.
- Clear communication skills, written, verbal and visual, with the ability to justify your conceptional and directional design choices.
- Strong collaboration and interdependence skills both within design and multi-functional partners.
