  • Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm (Mon to Fri)
  • Lead PLC & Automation Projects from Engineering to Commissioning

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead and support PLC and industrial automation projects from engineering and implementation through testing & commissioning.

**Candidates with strong PLC / automation project experience who are ready to take on greater project ownership and leadership responsibilities are encouraged to apply.**

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage PLC / industrial automation projects from planning through implementation, testing and commissioning
  • Coordinate project activities with customers, contractors, suppliers and internal engineering teams
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project engineers and team members
  • Develop project plans, schedules and work breakdown structures to ensure timely project delivery
  • Support engineering design, system integration, configuration and commissioning activities
  • Prepare and review PLC / RTU control philosophy and functional requirements
  • Review project specifications and ensure technical requirements are properly implemented
  • Troubleshoot technical and project issues and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Support system modification, upgrading and enhancement works for existing installations
  • Monitor project progress, quality and deliverables
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, drawings and project submissions

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Automation / Control Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in PLC, industrial automation or control system projects
  • Hands-on experience in PLC systems and automation project execution
  • Experience in SCADA, RTU, HMI, control systems or system integration will be an advantage
  • Experience handling projects from engineering/design through testing & commissioning preferred
  • Candidates with experience in Greenfield, Brownfield, infrastructure, utilities or industrial automation projects are encouraged to apply
  • Good project coordination, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work effectively with customers, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams
  • PMP certification and Class 3 driving licence will be an added advantage
