Job Summary

Join as a Senior Regulatory Compliance Officer to support the bank’s regulatory compliance framework across operations, reporting, monitoring, liaison, and policy review, ensuring alignment with Singapore regulations and internal policies.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies to ensure adherence and timely escalation of issues
  • Conduct periodic reviews of compliance processes to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions for continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and prepare regulatory reports, ensuring timely and accurate submission to regulators
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to verify data accuracy and completeness for regulatory reporting
  • Perform ongoing compliance monitoring and surveillance to identify potential risks, breaches, or control gaps
  • Prepare monitoring reports and follow up on remediation actions to mitigate compliance risks
  • Support regulatory liaison activities, including engagement with local regulatory bodies such as SDIC, and coordinate with Head Office on regulatory matters
  • Assist in reviewing and updating compliance policies and procedures to reflect regulatory changes and Head Office requirements
  • Support implementation of regulatory and compliance requirements bank-wide
  • Contribute to operational risk, business continuity management, and third-party management workstreams
  • Undertake other compliance-related and ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Compliance

Required competencies and certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Compliance, or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance, compliance monitoring, internal/external audit, or related functions within banking or financial services
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin (listening, speaking, reading, writing) to communicate effectively with Head Office and Chinese-speaking stakeholders

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience in regulatory reporting, compliance monitoring, or regulatory liaison within the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of Singapore banking regulatory requirements and compliance practices
  • Strong analytical, review, and report-writing skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
