Our portfolio comprises nine distinctive concepts: Quaich Bar Collector, Quaich Bar Avant-garde, Quaich Bar Wanderlust, The Other Room, Signature Reserve, Capitol Cigar & Whisky Lounge, The Auld Alliance, The Whisky Store and Whisky Journey. This December, Signature Reserve will collaborate with FOC Restaurant on an exciting new concept that brings together the world of whisky and Catalan cuisine, creating yet another distinctive and elevated hospitality experience within our growing portfolio.

As we continue to expand our portfolio and strengthen our presence in the industry, we are seeking passionate, committed and service-oriented individuals to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to grow their careers within the premium spirits and hospitality industry and be part of a growing organisation that continues to evolve and introduce new concepts and experiences for its consumers.

General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent service and oversees daily operations in the dining area.
  • Coordinate with kitchen, bar and service team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, escalating issues to the supervisor or manager when necessary.
  • Monitor the dining room flow, coordinate table turns, and ensure all stations are fully set up before service.
  • Delegate tasks to servers and runners, conduct pre-shift briefings, and train junior and/or new staff.
  • Ensure team members follow restaurant SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Support the Supervisor/Manager in maintaining efficient daily operations.
  • Help with stock checks, inventory control, and minimizing wastage.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and outlet preparation where required.
  • Promote menu items, promotions, and upselling opportunities, when appropriate, to improve sales.
  • Perform general food and beverage operational tasks as required (e.g Taking orders, serving, and preparation of food and beverages).
  • Ensure the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and efficiently organised.
  • Stay attentive to customer needs and respond promptly to requests.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and cooperate effectively with team members.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance service quality and work processes.
  • Any other duties may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2–3 years in an F&B service role, ideally with prior experience as a senior server or captain.
  • Proficiency with POS software and reservation platforms (Chope).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Able to lead and motivate junior service staff.
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attentive, friendly, and service-oriented.
  • Able to do shift work.
  • Flexible with work hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
