Job Summary

Our Service Engineer is expected to lead and manage maintenance teams to ensure optimal operation of Building Management Systems, driving preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and energy optimization for client facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of sub-contractors to execute maintenance and service works effectively
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and implement preventive maintenance activities to meet authority and client requirements on schedule
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and vendors to obtain quotations and manage purchase orders efficiently
  • Perform routine system checks, backups, restorations, troubleshooting, and upgrades to maintain optimal Building Management System (BMS) performance
  • Optimize BMS operations to reduce overall building energy consumption
  • Provide technical and operational guidance and engineering solutions to Facility Management teams

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
  • At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience with direct exposure of Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC systems
  • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive approach
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively
  • Ability to multi-task and meet project deliverables on schedule
  • Proficient in generating project reports using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Candidates processing a diploma in the mentioned discipline with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience would also be considered.
