What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform installation, commissioning, testing, and calibration of laboratory equipment at customer sites.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of laboratory instruments.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and provide timely technical solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct equipment validation, performance verification, and operational qualification when required.
  • Provide technical support and user training to customers on the proper operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate service documentation.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Application teams to provide excellent after-sales support.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and recommend replacement parts when necessary.
  • Ensure all work complies with company quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Support emergency service calls and occasional travel to customer sites when required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience servicing laboratory, scientific, analytical, medical, or industrial equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and customer service abilities.
  • Able to work independently and manage service schedules effectively.
  • Possess a Class 3 driving licence (preferred, if applicable).
