Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented Service Manager to oversee daily service operations and ensure a high standard of customer service. The successful candidate will lead the service team, maintain service quality and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage daily service operations.

Lead, supervise and motivate the service team to achieve high service standards.

Ensure guests receive friendly, professional and efficient service.

Monitor staff performance, attendance, grooming and service standards.

Assign daily duties and manage staff deployment according to operational needs.

Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.

Resolve service issues promptly and follow up where necessary.

Coordinate with the kitchen, management and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Ensure proper service procedures and company standards are followed.

Conduct staff training and provide guidance to improve service quality.

Monitor table setup, cleanliness and overall service areas.

Assist with reservations, events, special functions and VIP arrangements when required.

Monitor inventory and ensure service supplies are adequately maintained.

Assist with staff scheduling and manpower planning.

Support the team during peak periods and busy operations.

Maintain a safe, clean and professional working environment.

Prepare service-related reports and provide operational updates to management.

Assist management in implementing new procedures and improving service operations.

Perform ad hoc duties and other tasks as assigned by management.

Carry out any other duties and responsibilities reasonably related to the position as required by the company.

Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in service management, hospitality, F&B or a related industry.

Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good leadership and team-management skills.

Customer-oriented with good problem-solving abilities.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle operational challenges.

Good organisational and time-management skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Willing to perform ad hoc duties and support operational requirements when necessary.
