The posting

We are looking for an energetic and service-oriented Showroom Retail Assistant to support our day-to-day showroom operations. The role involves assisting walk-in customers, providing product information, preparing quotations and samples, and maintaining the showroom’s presentation and sample library.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with customers and is looking to grow in a dynamic, design-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist walk-in customers, understand their needs, and provide accurate product information.
  • Attend to customer enquiries and follow up on sales enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Prepare quotations, samples and other sales-related documentation.
  • Support the sales team with customer follow-ups and day-to-day sales coordination.
  • Maintain showroom cleanliness, product displays and visual merchandising standards.
  • Maintain and organize the showroom’s product samples and sample library.
  • Receive, check and organize incoming inventory and samples.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth showroom operations and positive customer experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in showroom or retail sales; experience with large-format tiles, sintered stone, laminates, architectural surfaces and other interior finishing materials will be an advantage.
  • Confident with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented and results-driven.
  • Positive, service-oriented attitude with strong attention to customer needs.
  • Good follow-through in handling customer enquiries and issues.
  • Comfortable working retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
