Job Overview

Responsible for day-to-day site execution, installation activities, subcontractor management, safety compliance and construction coordination for ASRS and cargo handling systems within airport cargo terminal facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Site Operations Management

  1. Supervise all site activities including dismantling, civil works, structural installation, equipment installation and testing
  2. Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, method statements and project schedules.
  3. Coordinate installation of:
  • ASRS racking systems
  • ASRM stacker cranes
  • AGV systems
  • Conveyors and transfers
  • Hoists and lifts
  • Electrical and control systems

Safety Management

  • Implement WSH and permit-to-work procedures.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings, risk assessments and site inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with MOM, BCA, SCDF, airport regulations and client safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with site safety personnel and subcontractors.

Site Coordination

  • Interface with airport operations teams to minimise operational disruptions.
  • Coordinate delivery logistics, lifting operations, crane activities and access arrangements.
  • Manage subcontractors and monitor productivity and workmanship.

Quality Control

  • Conduct installation inspections and quality checks.
  • Coordinate punch list closure and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering specifications and statutory requirements.

Commissioning Support

  • Support FAT/SAT, functional testing and operational trials.
  • Coordinate equipment energisation and system commissioning activities.
  • Assist in final handover and documentation.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years site management experience in industrial automation, ASRS, warehouse systems or airport projects.
  • Strong understanding of installation methodologies and construction sequencing.
  • Experience working in live operational environments.
  • Knowledge of Singapore workplace safety regulations.
  • Relevant site supervision and WSH certifications preferred.
