The posting

We are looking for seasoned engineers to join our team! You will participate in the design and implementation of our edge computing platform that is used to deploy global, scalable, and secure applications. Your work includes, but is not limited to, API definition, implementation, deployment, operational management, and debugging.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage production environment by monitoring availability and alerts, promptly remediating any issues in the production environment.
  • Design and deliver infrastructure solutions that will help build, deploy, and manage the service components of the platform.
  • Investigate various open-source and proprietary technologies, components, libraries, tools, etc., and help build a highly available, highly scalable, and easily manageable system.
  • Demonstrate technical leadership in multiple domain areas, providing mentorship to other team members, as well as partnering with development teams to improve services on an ongoing basis.
  • Take responsibility and ownership of F5 Cloud Platform software components, delivering a complete product that meets functional, scale, performance, and manageability requirements.
  • Write clean, efficient code in multiple languages (e.g., Python, Golang) while considering performance, scalability, maintainability, and flexibility. Develop tooling and processes to ensure that the F5 Cloud platform is highly available, scalable, and high-performing.
  • Remediate security vulnerabilities in our services and platform on a regular basis, and participate in on-call rotation.
  • Architect and maintain F5’s foundational cloud platform services (for example, infrastructure abstraction, provisioning, and deployment tooling) to ensure consistency, reliability, and scalability across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines, leveraging tools such as Terraform, Helm to automate provisioning, configuration, and environment orchestration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—SREs, application engineers, and QA—to define platform requirements, set best practices, and drive adoption of platform tools that improve the developer experience.
  • Create self-service interfaces and documentation for developers, enabling them to deploy, monitor, and manage applications more easily and securely on the platform.
  • Define platform-level SLOs and SLIs in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring robust performance monitoring and effective capacity planning.
  • Continuously evaluate and introduce new technologies and frameworks to enhance the platform’s capabilities—focusing on operational efficiency, cost optimization, and developer productivity.

What You’ll Bring:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in an SRE/Platform Engineering/DevOps role.
  • Proven experience designing, building, and managing distributed, highly available systems and network control planes.
  • Attention to detail, a “can-do” attitude, and a mindset to raise the bar are a must.
  • Strong familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD practices, and automation frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of Linux Systems (previous system administrator experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Python or Golang development, including designing and building scalable microservices and tooling.
  • Hands-on experience with DNS, Security, Virtualization, Containers, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with capacity planning and cost optimization preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and functions effectively.

What You’ll Get:

  • Hybrid working mode
  • Career growth and development opportunities
  • Recognitions and Rewards
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and cool perks
  • Culture of Giving Back
  • Dynamic Diversity & Inclusion Interest Groups

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
