Responsibilities and Requirements:

1. Oracle Database

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle 19c/12c/11g.
  • Knowledge of tables, views, indexes, sequences, synonyms, constraints and database objects.

2. SQL & PL/SQL

  • Advanced SQL queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs and analytical functions.
  • Development of Procedures, Functions, Packages, Cursors and Triggers.
  • Dynamic SQL and exception handling.

3. Performance Tuning

  • SQL query optimization and execution-plan analysis.
  • Index optimization and statistics management.
  • Troubleshooting slow-running queries and database performance issues.

4. Database Design

  • Database schema design and normalization.
  • Primary/foreign keys, relationships and constraints.
  • Understanding of ER diagrams and data modelling.

5. Data Management & Migration

  • Data migration, bulk data processing and data validation.
  • Experience with Oracle Data Pump (EXPDP/IMPDP) and SQL*Loader.
  • Handling large-volume datasets.

6. Database Troubleshooting

  • Identification and resolution of Oracle errors.
  • Knowledge of locks, blocking sessions, deadlocks and transaction management.
  • Debugging and maintenance of PL/SQL code.

7. Database Security

  • User and role management.
  • GRANT/REVOKE privileges and basic database security concepts.

Education

UG: B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)

Experience:

  • 10+ years development experience with Oracle Database version 9i /10g / 11g /12c
  • Manage all phases of the SDLC from analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance.
