Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and understand requirements from users, stakeholders and development teams regarding application functionality and features.
  • Design, develop, maintain and enhance web applications across both backend and frontend components.
  • Develop backend services and APIs using C#, .NET (MVC & Core) and SQL Server.
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using TypeScript, React, Next.js, HTML5, JavaScript, Razor and Blazor.
  • Integrate applications with REST APIs, GraphQL and third-party libraries and services.
  • Build and enhance applications based on business requirements, mockups and prototypes.
  • Develop and maintain database structures and applications using SQL Server and Entity Framework (Code First).
  • Implement secure coding practices, authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, bugs and performance issues.
  • Conduct development testing, browser testing, debugging and code reviews to ensure software quality.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance, including backend systems and frontend applications.
  • Participate in CI/CD and DevOps workflows, version control and cloud deployment activities.
  • Monitor the technical performance of internal systems and respond to development and system-related requests.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, user guides and development documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve application usability, functionality and overall user experience.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve existing systems and development processes.
  • Attend and contribute to project and technical meetings.
  • Perform other development-related duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET (MVC & Core) and SQL Server for backend development.
  • Strong experience with TypeScript, React and Next.js for frontend development.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, Razor and/or Blazor.
  • Experience in developing APIs and integrating REST APIs, GraphQL and third-party libraries.
  • Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework (Code First).
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices, authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub and version control systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps workflows, cloud deployment and Cron jobs.
  • Experience with application testing, browser debugging and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of the full web development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment.
  • Knowledge of React Native and Expo is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and familiarity with Figma or other design/prototyping tools is an advantage.
